The Key short film

During the post-production for their first short film, Amanda and her partner Steve, wrote, produced and filmed their first micro short - The Key.

The Key is a 3 minute micro short film which follows the journey of a woman who wakes up on an isolated beach. The film explores the way women are socialised to look for affirmation externally. Steve’s creative visuals and Amanda’s haunting performance combine to bring the abstract script to life.

There’s also a Making of film which accompanies the main feature where Amanda and Steve discuss the process of filming and how they created some of the camera effects.
