Shortlisted for BBC Writers Room

BBC Writers Room posted a ‘rapid response callout fro scripts’ as part of their InterConneced project:

‘...asking for original short-form scripts, between 5-10 minutes in length whose 2-4 characters now find themselves in isolation, but connecting via video conferencing. They may be friends, lovers, neighbours, colleagues, family or strangers. But they’re all alone together and using modern technology to stay connected.’

They received 6803 scripts and Amanda’s script ‘The Lennox Report’ was shortlisted. The second stage saw the scripts whittled down to 600 and ‘The Lennox Report’ made it into this top 8%.

Team Sass Productions - the company Amanda co-runs with Steve Brown - will be producing this short film during this lockdown period.
