Macbeth Costume Reveal

Amanda has begun rehearsals for Macbeth at Shakespeare’s Globe. This production is part of the ‘Playing Shakespeare’ project at the Globe which creates engaging productions of Shakespeare plays specifically designed for young audiences. The costume for Amanda’s character, the Thane of Ross, has just been revealed and it’s very eye-catching. The play’s director, Cressida Brown, was keen to create a ‘Hunger Games’ atheistic with the set design and costumes. The Thane of Ross costume is inspired by Effie Trinket - over the top haute couture.
