This summer I stepped onto the streets of Walford to spend some time with the Slaters as Private Investigator Becca Blake. It was a little surreal being in Albert Square after growing up watching the show, and I loved every second of bringing Becca into the world of Walford.

My episodes were full of intrigue as Becca digs for answers on behalf of the Slaters. Filming in the caff and wandering the market felt like real pinch me moments.

One of the biggest highlights for me was getting to work with the brilliant Jessie Wallace and Michelle Ryan, both of whom went out of their way to be warm, generous, and incredibly welcoming. Sharing scenes with them was an absolute pleasure — the kind of experience that reminds you why you fell in love with acting in the first place.

And of course, I couldn’t resist sneaking in a cheeky stop at the Queen Vic between takes. Some opportunities are simply too iconic not to seize!
